Future Wildcats, Get Ready to Roar! 🐾
Rodney B. Cox Elementary is excited to welcome our incoming kindergarten students to Future Wildcats Kindergarten Camp on July 30–31!
This free two-day camp helps children become familiar with their new school, meet future classmates, explore classrooms, and begin their kindergarten journey with confidence. Lunch will be provided each day.
Families are also invited to attend a parent information meeting on July 30 to learn more about what to expect in kindergarten.

🐾 ¡Futuros Wildcats, Prepárense para Rugir! 🐾
¡La Escuela Primaria Rodney B. Cox está emocionada de dar la bienvenida a nuestros futuros estudiantes de kínder al Campamento de Kínder para Futuros Wildcats los días 30 y 31 de julio!
Este campamento gratuito de dos días ayudará a los niños a familiarizarse con su nueva escuela, conocer a futuros compañeros de clase, explorar los salones y comenzar su aventura en el kínder con confianza. Se proporcionará almuerzo ambos días.
También invitamos a las familias a asistir a una reunión informativa para padres el 30 de julio, donde podrán conocer más sobre lo que pueden esperar durante el año de kínder.

Back-to-School Bash
The Rodney B. Cox Elementary School PTO invites families and community members to attend the 2nd Annual Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This free community event will help students prepare for the new school year and will include:
- Free backpacks (while supplies last)
- Free food
- Free student haircuts

Meet the Teacher Day
Rodney B. Cox Elementary School invites all students and families to attend Meet the Teacher Day on Monday, August 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
During this event, families will have the opportunity to:
- Meet their child's teacher
- Drop off school supplies
- Visit and become familiar with the classroom

First Day of School: Thursday, August 13
School Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 2:40 p.m.

La Escuela Primaria Rodney B. Cox invita a todos los estudiantes y sus familias a asistir al Día de Conozca al Maestro el lunes, 10 de agosto, de 10:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m.
Durante este evento, las familias tendrán la oportunidad de:
- Conocer al maestro(a) de su hijo(a)
- Entregar los útiles escolares
- Visitar y familiarizarse con el salón de clases
